* New accounts are approved and we will notify you when your ads go
live. When your account is approved and your ads go live, you get a
signup bonus of 1000 credit ( impressions). You can also earn additional
bonus credits for promoting ALE, additional impressions for each click
sent from your site, and having other sites sign up on your recommendation.
* Right now, we show ad sizes in 120x60, 120x90, and 468x60 and one
lline html text ad. We might add more later if the demand is there.
We suggest you had at least one banner in all available sizes.
* You can add your site to up to 6 categories and your banners will
be targeted on those categories. You can also choose to only show the
banners from certain categories so you will not have to show the banners
of competing sites. Read an article on Setting Up your ads.
* The 500 pixel wide one line html banner is perfect for businesses
or sites who do not want to show banner blocks, but want to generate
impressions. Use it at the top of your header or under your footer.
Be sure you upload your own html banner.. and remember.. only one line
of text.
* What ALE is and is not. Asia Linkexchange is setup to promote legitimate
sites about Asia which are in English. If you have site with real content
and are willing to put the ALE code on your site, we'll send you a bunch
of traffic. Businesses are OK, but in order to get impressions, you
must give impressions or pay. If your site is solely in another language,
ALE is probably not right for you. If your site is a shell of keywords
designed to get people to click on your google ads, your site will not
be approved. Real sites with real content in English is what this network
is about right now.
* You receive 80 impressions of your ads on other member sites for
every 100 impressions you show. You also receive additional credit toward
impressions if for each click through from your site.
* Member sites get 80% of impressions shown on the network at this
point, directly from the number of impression they show. The other 20%
goes to member bonuses for signup, bringing other sites on, members
who want to pay for additional impressions and advertisers who do not
want to display the code on their site.
* The larger the banner the more credit is given in your ad swap with
other sites. If you are showing 468x60 standard banners.. for every
2 you show, 5 of your ads in 120x60 size will show on other sites. Or
if you are showing large logo 120x90, 3 of your 120x60 will show for
every 2 large logo you show. So you need to have your banners uploaded
in all available sizes to get maximum coverage on all the different
member sites.
* Though we recommend showing a banner of all sizes you contribute a banner to, you only have to show one banner on your site. All banners you upload to all sizes will be shown on other sites.
* We do have some terms of service.
